if we are to believe that regina is a straight woman (impossible) then I truly do think she would not have a romantic love after Daniel. I don't think that after Daniel's death as well as Leopold and rumples abuse she could ever devote herself to a man because of the memories they bring to her.

This is different of course with henry and I actually think with having a child she would prefer a boy so she could raise him to have the respect for women that the men of her past lacked and daniel showed her for the first time. As well as the fear that having a daughter would bring and Regina not wanting to become her mother.

dont even get me started on her father because I can smell the comments saying that her father was a good man to her and she wouldnt hate men bc of him bla bla bla. respectfully, you are wrong<3! love must go beyond the simple profession of it and Henry Sr's. did not. Yes he cared for her but his care did not extend into bravery and that is where love resides. Daniel was ready to stand up to Cora on Reginas behalf when they were about to run away, Henry Sr sat by and watched while his daughter was restrained in the air and who knows what else.

I do not know if Regina ever came to terms with her true feelings for her father but deep down I think she knows he was not a good parent, but compared to Cora he sure seemed like one. Any comfort at all through her childhood was from him and that attachment overshadowed everything else he failed to do.

And with her using him to cast the curse, I do not think at that point she held much love for him at all. She thought she loved her horse more then him first of all. Yes she had to sacrifice what she loved the most but there was nobody else alive for her to love. (except Mal but thats a whole different post hehe) the dark curse is meant to be hard to cast, otherwise everyone would go around doing it. Most sane people would register that they cannot get their happy endings if the person they love most is not there, but regina 1. was not sane, and 2. knew she could live without her father. Did she love him? yes im sure she did. but only as far as she could throw him.

In the underworld I think her father felt so much guilt about Reginas childhood that he never faulted her for killing him and that is when I think his love was the strongest. But it was too late. I do think however that Regina got the closure she needed to move on from his death because once her anger ebbed away over the years of the curse I do think she felt incredibly guilty.

Anyway this blossomed because I was thinking about how much I hate robin and his beard and Regina should of too!

My Internet connection is slow during my watching of Once Upon A Time really aggravates me as if I were trying to watch the show without seeing a loading screen for 15 minutes and I have restarted my TV several times and also my wifi router 😀

Also am I the only one who’s seems to be disturbed by Cora (Regina’s mother)? She gives me creepy vibes and another thing, young Snow was kind of in the wrong for telling her (Cora) about Regina and Daniel. Just my opinion! 🫣

FAVOURITE PARALLELS TRIBUTE VID- REGINA’S TRUE LOVES’ DYING IN HER ARMS

(Argh! For some reason, the video isn’t staying perfectly in time with the music now that I’ve uploaded it onto here. That’s annoying. But anyways, I hope you like this, I worked my ass off making it.)

This is one of the saddest parallels ever and the only reason it’s my favourite is because it’s a perfect example of how far Regina has come. We all know that her first love, Daniel, was one of the many catalysts in Regina becoming the Evil Queen (more specifically, his death was). And then having Robin, her soulmate, being brought into her life years later she not only becomes a better person, but grows to believe in the possibility of love again. It’s really a beautiful full-circle story: Daniel’s love breaks her, and she becomes the Evil Queen. But Robin’s love puts her back together again, and she becomes Regina. The Good Queen. The most heartbreaking part of this is that both men die because they love Regina. Daniel loved and died for her so that she could grow into the woman Robin fell in love with and sacrificed himself for.

Continuing off my Frankenstein parallels, Henry and Daniel in the barn being a parallel to the Creature and William Frankenstein.

In the novel, William’s childish cruelty and entitled disdain for the Creature is what causes him to finally lose all faith in humanity and start killing people.

Meanwhile, Henry offers a helping hand, he wants to help even though he has no idea who this guy is. Unfortunately Daniel is stuck in the moment of his own painful, traumatic death and lashes out in a blind rage.

The Life of Danielle Colter; The Stable Girl

DO NOT STEAL! WRITER'S OWN CREATION.

Danielle grew up on a small horse farm on the edge of King Leopold’s kingdom with her father and mother. They were a poorer family and struggled from day to day but always found a way to make it through the worst of times. Danielle’s father had always hoped for a son but still loving his daughter more than anything, he chose to teach her all there was in life to learn, including the ways and trade of any man. As Danielle grew up, her father would take her on outings, teaching her the skills to survive; sword fighting, hunting, the art of a craftsman, but most of all his own trade; horses. She grew strong from the farm work that her father insisted she help with, which only made the other children in town tease and pick on her, but Danielle was proud of who she was and who her parents had raised her to be.

Danielle grew to have a soft spirit and kind heart, something that came naturally to her despite the roughness her father taught her. She was able to see the good in almost everything and everyone. Though she had learned many manly crafts from her father, she had one passion that overlooked it all. Her love of horses. Whenever her father didn’t have her gathering wood, cleaning the stables, or hunting, Danielle was out with the horses, riding, brushing or merely petting the magnificent creatures. She had a natural talent when it came to dealing with the animals, most believed it was due to her gentle spirit. Her parents couldn’t have been prouder of the woman she was becoming.

One cold winter’s night, Danielle’s father had fallen ill with a sweating disease and cough. As they couldn’t afford a physician, they did their best to keep him warm and comfortable and waited for any chance of him getting well. A week past, but her father only seemed to get worse. A day later, he sadly passed on leaving Danielle and her mother alone to keep up with the farm. Unable to pay what they owed, her mother sold the horses and whatever else they could, but it still wasn’t enough. Her mother eventually sold the farm and moved into a small home in town with Danielle. Danielle couldn’t stand not being able to care for her mother, so the day came when she decided to go out in search of work. Saying a pained goodbye, Danielle began to travel from upper class home to upper class home looking for gainful employment. Taking a chance, Danielle headed to the outskirts of King Leopold’s Kingdom to Prince Henry’s home.

Danielle was soon employed by the family and was working as their stable hand. After only a few weeks, Cora asked to have Danielle instruct their daughter, Regina, with riding lessons. The two were instant friends and began to spend more and more time together. Regina’s lessons began to become almost a daily occurrence, that was when Cora allowed it. With every lesson, the two grew closer and closer until feelings that they both were unsure of began to grow and change. They soon realized they were in love with each other.

Keeping the relationship a secret, Regina’s riding lessons became secret trysts between the two as Cora would never have allowed it. Cora wanted Regina to be more than she, herself, had ever been. Regina knew their relationship would displease Cora and with the way Cora used magic on her, she couldn’t risk Cora using it on Danielle. Cora not only would have been unhappy with Regina being in love with the help, but also a woman. To Cora, there was nothing in it for Regina. Cora never spoke of her own past, but the way she acted towards lower ranks, Regina knew Cora must have had a hard past.

Soon finding an opportunity to have Regina noticed by the King, Cora began to plot and plan to get her noticed as he was soon to be passing through. Transporting to the woods, Cora hid behind a tree then spooked the horse of the young Princess sending her right in the path of Regina and Danielle who were meeting in their secret place. Snow White screamed as the horse beneath her ran with its own free will, the child helpless to do anything. Cora knew Snow would cross paths with Regina, who wouldn’t be able to not help the child. Hearing the girl’s screams, Regina jumped on her horse and saved the child from harm.

Hearing of Regina’s heroic deed, King Leopold sought out the home of Regina and immediately proposed to the woman who saved his daughter’s life. He had been in search of someone worthy enough to become Snow White’s step-mother as the child was in need of a woman’s attention and love. Regina was flabbergasted and looked to her father for help but he merely stood by and said nothing though her mother was more than proud enough to accept the proposal for her.

Finally free of the company, Regina grabbed her cloak and ran as fast as she could to the stables and into Danielle’s arms in tears. Regina explained through her sobs about the marriage proposal and that her mother had accepted it for her. Danielle held her close and wiped her tears away then pressed a soft kiss to her lips. With a smile Danielle turned away and took a ring off of a nearby saddle and proposed to Regina and said they could run away together. Get away from Cora and get married but as Regina happily accept the proposal with a kiss and embrace, she found that Snow had ventured out from the house and caught them. Running after her, Regina was able to talk Snow into keeping her secret from everyone, especially her mother.

The night came when Danielle and Regina had planned to run away together but once again as they were about to leave, they had been caught by Cora. She had manipulated Snow into telling her about Regina’s plans by letting her believe she wanted Regina to be happy. Trapping the young couple inside the barn with her, Cora was beyond angry that her daughter would disgrace her by doing such a thing as running away with the help. After some tension and Regina’s adamant reasoning with her mother, Cora made them believe that she relented in her stubbornness and would support them in their decision. Moving to Danielle, she exchanged kind and understanding words with her once again making her believe that she was happy for them both. Acting as if she was going to embrace her daughter’s love, Cora instead shoved her hand into Danielle’s chest and ripped out her heart. Completely unmoved by her own daughter’s screams, Cora crushed the stable woman’s heart in her hand and let the dust fall to the ground. Or so she made Regina believe.

Cora consoled her daughter and forced her to dry her tears and to prepare for her wedding with the King. Sending Regina back to the house, Cora turned back to the body of Danielle then waved her hand over the dust of the woman’s heart undoing what she had done. Speaking to the heart, Cora demanded that she wake. Danielle woke up with a gasp and looked to Cora demanding that she tell her what had happened. Cora smirked and did just that and added that the woman was never going to see Regina again nor remember anything about her. That Danielle would now be doing her bidding whether she wanted to or not. Waving her hand towards Danielle, Cora erased all memory of Regina but left an unknown longing and sense of constant loneliness inside her as a punishment. With another wave, Cora implanted new memories and a new identity. Smiling at the woman, Cora spoke to her heart. “When the time is right, you will hear from me again. But for now, you will sleep and awaken with a new purpose and life.”

Her eyes fluttering open, Danielle, or Morgana as she was now known, woke in a bed which she found familiar though in truth it was the first time sleeping in it. She was in her own bedroom in the castle of Uther Pendragon, her uncle and Guardian who had raised her from a child. For all Morgana knew, she lived in Camelot as a Lady of the Court, all previous memories of being Danielle or even living in the Enchanted Forest were gone.

As time went on and Danielle lived as Morgana, something inside her was trying to emerge which she slowly realized was magic. She wasn’t sure where or how she got it, but she had it nonetheless. As it was still emerging, she had no control over it and things tended to happen whenever she had a nightmare which was almost every night. The court physician, Gaius, gave her sleeping drafts almost every night but they never helped. Thankfully, Gaius was a man of the old religion and knew of other lands such as the Enchanted Forest. Cora had threatened him into keeping the secret of where and how Morgana came to be and told him to keep the fact that she had magic from her as Cora needed it to emerge slowly and in secret as Uther would have surely killed her. Uther was against magic and executed anyone who was of the old religion whether they had magic or not. Just the knowledge of spells was enough for the King.

As another year or two went by, Morgana’s magic emerged more and more turning her against the King and turning to those of the old religion to help her control and understand her powers. She kept the knowledge of her powers to herself though at times felt as if the Prince’s manservant, Merlin, knew of them. He always seemed to be around and getting into her business. As Morgana’s powers grew, so did the darkness inside which was of Cora’s doing. That darkness turned into hate for the King and his own hatred for those with magic. Morgana found people from the old religion called the Druids, who helped her develop her powers and lead her to a woman called Morgause. Morgause fanned the fire within Morgana, who then began every attempt she could take, without risk, on the King’s life until one day, she overheard a confession of the King saying she was in fact his father and not his uncle. Her hatred for the King grew even more but added to it was the want for the throne. Though no matter how hard she tried, it always ended in failure. Her heart was now the blackest of black and her powers were greater than even she had imagined. Every step of the way, Morgause had been by her side, encouraging her and provoking her to go after what she wanted. Little did Morgana know, it had been Cora all along.

As Cora’s work was done, she left the woman to live out the rest of her life. Which was spent being trapped and tortured with a baby dragon for over a year then finally released and back on her revenge of killing Uther and taking the throne for her own. Until one day, after a battle with Emress, the great sorcerer, that she disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Waking in a land, Morgana, originally Danielle, found herself with new memories yet again. She worked on a horse farm just on the edge of town, caring for all the horses and the upkeep of the stables themselves. Here she lived a peaceful life for many years, doing what she loved. That was until the day the fog lifted and she remember her life as Morgana and that of her original self.

Oh yeah, 100% spoiler free, my sister and I firmly adhere to a "Dr. Whale is colorblind" theory. My sister thinks he's colorblind because his world is black and white, so obviously his eyes don't have color receptors. I, however, think his world is filmed in black and white because he's colorblind; it's an audience filter to help draw us into his perspective, but his world is actually full color. (the usage of color is actually used to denote magic in the b&w flashbacks)

IT'S ALIVE!

Huh, I was not expecting Dr. Whale to be Dr. Frankenstein, but it makes sense now. I have to say, I like the little detail of Frankenstein's world being in black and white. Props to whoever did that.

The parallels between Regina and Cora are painful. Now they both killed Daniel in a stable.

Professor Song Mingi. That's all that everyone talks about these days. Especially the women at this godforsaken school. It would range from, "Professor Song is so hot!" to "I'd let him bend me over."

Was I the only one disgusted by this? As I approached my locker, I felt arms being thrown around me and I chuckled knowing who it was.

"Hi, Y/N!" My best friend greeted me. I turned around and properly gave her a hug. "Hi, Regina." I greeted back.

Regina Mills, one of the most popular girls at school, was my best friend from childhood. We've been through everything together. From birthday parties to the first day of school. We even decided that we would go to the same university together! I was there for her when she suffered through her first heartbreak. Daniel Colter, a nice guy, died in a car crash three years ago. Her heartbreak had been so intense that it almost cost us our friendship since she shut everyone out. However, with my persistence, I was able to get her back on her feet. Now, she's happier than ever, especially since she met Robin Hood. His story? He fell out of love with Marian and vice versa, so the breakup was mutual.

Speaking of Robin, I saw him walking down the hallway and I waved at him to know where we were at. He saw us and a bright smile appeared on his face as he jogged over to our shared lockers. He gave Regina a kiss on the cheek and I gagged jokingly. Robin playfully rolled his eyes as he stuffed some of his things in his locker and shut the door.

"Just you wait, young lady. One day, you'll be in the same situation as us." He said and I chuckled.

"Fuck me." I muttered to myself as I brought out my own textbook from my own locker. Soon, the four of us made our way to the lecture hall and sat down in our respective seats.

"That would imply that I had to fall for someone first. And so far, I don't see anyone that catches my eye." I said truthfully.

I felt a presence beside me and I looked to see Zelena Mills, Regina's older sister, put her things in her locker as well.

"Oh don't be silly, darling. You'll find someone eventually. We all do. However, if you're asexual like me, then things will be difficult. For you at least." She said before she brought out a textbook for her class. I looked at the textbook and I groaned inwardly. The four of us had English with Professor Song.

Time Skip

"Regina! Wait for me!" I called out to her and she nodded before she, along with Robin and Zelena, exited the classroom. I sighed heavily as I trudged my way downstairs before stopping in front of his desk. Belle was beside Professor Song since she wanted to make sure that she understood the assignment. Once Professor Song clarified on certain parts of the homework, she said her thanks and walked out after giving me a small greeting. It was now us two and Professor Song took off his glasses & messed up his hair a bit. He smirked at me as he tapped the desk, indicating that I should sit on it. I obliged and sat on the desk. He was now standing in between my legs as he studied my face.

"Hey. Y/N. Wake up." Someone whispered in my ear. A hand grasped my shoulder gently and I jolted awake from the touch. I looked up to see Mary Margeret looking at me with concern while her boyfriend, David Charming, was packing up their stuff in their bags.

"What time is it?" I groggily said as I stretched.

"It's the end of class. Speaking of which, Professor Song needs to talk to you." She said and I groaned out loud. I'm most likely going to receive another lecture about sleeping in class.

"You slept throughout class again. I'm ashamed of you." His deep voice resonated throughout the empty lecture hall as he continued to look at me. His hands were on his desk in a form that had me caged in between his arms. I crossed my own arms and looked up at him.

"Ok and? Why should I care? It's not like we're dating." I said to him. I was already pissed off with him since he held me back. Now this? When will this end?

"Is it your insomnia again?" Mingi asked in a gentle tone. As much as I hate to admit it, he's right. My insomnia got the best of me last night.

"WHEN WILL YOU REALIZE THAT I DON'T LOVE HER?! I ONLY LOVE YOU!"

"So what if it is? Again, we're not dating so you should stop caring about me. Go back to Ingrid, your wife." I put emphasis on that word since I found out that he was married while we were dating back in high school. Mingi sighed in frustration and ran a hand through his hair.

"I told you, it was an arranged marriage. Keyword: arranged." He corrected me, his deep voice going deeper.

"It doesn't matter. I felt like a homewrecker when I found out about it - "

"BULLSHIT! I SAW THE WAY YOU WERE HUGGING HER AND SMILING DOWN AT HER!"

"IT WAS FAKE! IT WAS ALL AN ACT! I NEVER SMILE LIKE THAT WHEN I'M AROUND HER! I ONLY DO IT WHEN I'M AROUND YOU!"

"IT DOESN'T MATTER! YOU'RE MARRIED TO HER AND THAT'S FINAL! SO JUST LET ME GO - "

Mingi's lips swiftly planted themselves on mine and I was shocked yet I kissed back, my eyes slowly closing. His hands found my waist and he lifted me up easily so I could straddle him while he sat back down in his chair. My arms were thrown around him and my hands were in his hair. His hands landed firmly on my ass and he squeezed it. A gasp escaped my lips and it granted him the opportunity to have his tongue enter and explore my mouth. I felt my sweater being pulled down and air hit my bare shoulder. His lips left mine and started working its way down my neck, collarbone, and shoulder. A quiet moan escaped my mouth as his tongue dragged itself around every inch of exposed skin.

"So damn beautiful. You are mine. Mine and only mine. I don't want anyone else looking at you. I love you. I will always love you." Mingi muttered against my skin as he pulled down my sweater some more so he can do the same thing on the other side.

I was lost in pleasure due to his touch. It was rough yet gentle at the same time. He looked at me with those eyes, going from sharp to soft in a matter of minutes as he caressed my face and gave me another kiss. It wasn't aggressive like the first time. Instead, it held care and love.

"Then you don't have to be. If you need help, aunt Cora is a lawyer. She'll help you with whatever you need. Just don't cry, ok?" I said as I held his face in my hands.

"I'll be yours again. Truth be told, I missed you. And I still love you." I confessed and his eyes brightened.

"You do?" He asked quietly. I nodded before kissing him once more. He wrapped his arms around me and got up from his chair so he could spin me around.

"YES! Y/N Y/L/N IS MINE AGAIN!" He shouted to no one in particular and I couldn't help but giggle at his excitement.

"And that's how we got back together." I explained to my friends.

We were at Granny's Diner and I told them the whole story of how Mingi and I got back together. Regina and Robin had their jaws dropped to the floor while Zelena smiled. As our food came, the couple from across us stared at us long and hard. Mingi felt uncomfortable and I reassured him that it was alright. They just like to be dramatic. Robin munched on some fries while Regina took a sip of her coffee before she blurted out the first thing that was on her mind.

"So we can skip out on tests that we didn't study for?" She asked in a hopeful tone.

"Nope! You still have to do your exams." Mingi shut her down and Regina pouted while I laughed it off.
